Farewell to Pi Day

Pi Day Sale — 2016-2026 (RIP)

Ten years ago this March 14th, we kicked off a Goodhertz tradition: the Pi Day Sale. Why did we start it? We’re not sure, really, except that — at its heart — Goodhertz sells applied math. And at the heart of a lot of that applied math is π, that ancient mathematical concept mined from thousands of years of deep-thinking by great minds around the world.

But the time has come to say farewell to the Pi Day Sale. At Goodhertz, we generally only run two big sales a year, and having our Anniversary Sale in November and our Pi Day Sale in March leaves us with a big hole in the calendar, making it difficult for the budget-conscious buyer to save on Goodhertz plugins. So we’re ending the Pi Day Sale (RIP) this year and starting a new tradition: the Goodhertz Semi-Annual Sale, which we plan to hold in May.

All that said, we will still be having a Pi Day Sale this year, but we’re taking the sale back to its original form: a simple coupon code — just use coupon code FAREWELLPIDAY to save 31% on March 14th, 2026.

Some “Farewell to Pi Day” FAQ’s:

Are the plugin prices automatically discounted?

Nope! You need to enter the coupon code FAREWELLPIDAY on the order page to get the discount.

How do we define “March 14th”?

Great question. March 14th begins March 13th at 10:00 UTC (midnight on Caroline Atoll in Kiribati) and ends at 12:00 on March 15th (midnight on Howland Island, an uninhabited coral island that’s actually to the east of Caroline Atoll — go figure!); aka, the coupon code is valid as long as it March 14th anywhere on earth (AoE).
