Here’s a Goodhertz Cheat Code you can use in Tupe’s filter section: hold cmd + alt (ctrl + alt for PC folks) while dragging the filter dots in Tupe to boost AND cut at the same time (a la the Pultec trick) in a single motion.

Boost ~AND~ cut, you say? Aren’t those just doing the opposite thing? Sort of. The shape and frequencies of the boost and cut are not the same, which leads to a combined response that is interesting and sort of “S” shaped. In the classic example, it allows you to boost the low end while simultaneously cutting muddier frequencies. When it works it’s a real “have your cake and eat it too” type of EQ.
